DCI Solution is currently seeking a Full-Time Valuation Specialist

 

Join a rapidly growing  provider of specialty vehicle valuations appraisals in the industry. DCI Solution delivers market-leading claims solutions to insurance companies, trucking companies and banks worldwide.

Position Overview

Conduct research to determine the fair, local-market value for vehicles involved in a potential total loss using the Internet and our proprietary database. This position works closely with claim adjusters from top insurers, auto and truck deal­erships across the United States and Canada

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritizes and completes work received throughout the day, while simultaneously receiving inbound calls from customers
  • Produces vehicle valuations requested by customers through telephone, website or emails using DCI Solution software
  • Updates and adjusts vehicle valuations based upon customer input received trough phone, website or email using DCI Solution software
  • Answers technical questions on vehicle valuations developed by company (e.g. explain fair market value, feature lists) received through phone, website or email
  • Determines necessity of performing market research on a vehicle in order to determine the fair market value of the vehicle
  • Places calls to customers in order to obtain information to complete vehicle valuation
    Utilizes instant messenger to engage team for assistance on valuations while interacting with the client
  • Maintains knowledge of state and national regulations surrounding vehicle valuations
  • Delivers high level of customer service to all clients
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs market research on vehicle and equipment in order to determine fair market value
Places calls to dealerships to obtain quotes on vehicles as part of market research on vehicle valuation

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience and high interest in Automotive, power sports or commercial vehicles or recreational vehicles strongly desired
  • 3-5 years in a customer service profession, preferably with an insurance or automotive organization
  • Required Skills and Abilities
  • Able to type 40 words per minute with 95% accuracy
  • Proficient in excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company and the general public, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to demonstrate a courteous, tactful and professional approach with employees and external customers and vendors.
  • Ability to accurately complete tasks and projects, within allowable timeframes.
  • Ability to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform special assignments as requested by the management team.
  • Ability to efficiently organize.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
