Truck Valuations
Truck Types
DCI Solution provides valuations on the four major truck types.
Light Duty Trucks: Light duty trucks are smaller trucks typically used for light commercial and personal use. Examples include pickup trucks, panel trucks, and delivery vans. They have a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of less than 14,000 pounds.
Medium Duty Trucks: Medium duty trucks are larger than light duty trucks and are used for more heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications. Examples include box trucks, flatbed trucks, and refrigerated trucks. They have a GVWR between 14,000 and 33,000 pounds.
Sleepers: Sleepers are tractor-trailer combinations that have a sleeping compartment built into the cab. They are commonly used by long-haul truckers who need a place to rest during long trips.
Daycabs: Daycabs are tractor-trailer combinations that do not have a sleeping compartment. They are typically used for local deliveries and shorter trips.
